Synopsis:
What is the definition of 'true information' in this period we so proudly call as 'Information Age'?
Do we really get true, pure, crystal clear information of all events? Or is information manipulated, corrupted, moulded to benefit some higher authority and then presented to us through all forms of media?
'Aparadhi Sugandh' tries to make sense of a true event that took place in Pune involving a sandalwood tree.
It's narrator Aburao takes his friend Baburao through various scenes to teach him the new meaning 'truth'. As the play progresses Baburao learns more and more and gives his final examination - how to cope and live with this so called 'truth'.

Director's Note:
Watching a movie like 'Rang De Basanti' or 'A Wednesday' inspires the audience..we enjoy watching that scene in 'Singham' where a Minister's butt is kicked..literally! Why do we enjoy such far-fetched concepts? Because I feel that it is everyone's fantasy to do that - shoot dead, blow up, kick- to politicians and terrorists alike!It is common knowledge that corruption is now an inherent part of our system. The various scams are just numbers to us- 68 lacs, 300 crores, 2 lac crores..but the value of corruption of true information can never be estimated. Who can you really trust today? 'Apradhi Sugandh' tries to find true answers circling a series of true events in Pune. It's narrators - Aburao and Baburao try finding the latest definition of 'truth'.Having said this..the dark matter in the play is presented in a light note..because nothing pinches harder than humour!
